When disaster strikes a community and disrupts normal activities where you live, work or attend school what will you do? The Answer is to prepare now. You can protect  yourself and others around you during disaster event by creating an personal preparedness plan. A personal preparedness plan will lay out where when and how you will contact family and friends, as well as prepare you for emergencies.

Having a Personal Preparedness Checklist¬†could be the survival plan that ensures you and others don’t become victims in the wake of a natural or man made disaster.
